Q: How many people will one entrée
serve?
A:There are two convenient entrée sizes to meet your needs,
including a 4-6 serving option and a 2-3 serving option.
Q: Can I double up on a certain entrée?
A: Yes, you can choose up to two of each entrée selection. In
some instances, we may limit an entrée choice to one.
Q: How often does the menu change?
A: Each month we have chosen the best of family and gourmet
recipes for you to enjoy. The menu changes the
first of every month. Let us know when there is an entrée you would like to
have again, as we will bring back "the favorites" from time to time.
Q: Will all this food fit in my freezer?
A: Yes, the entreés are packed in disposable foil pans and
freezer bags, which we provide. All entreés will fit, but we suggest you make
sure there is room in your freezer prior to your session. To help alleviate
space issues, we recommend placing one or two entrées in your refrigerator to
be consumed within the first few days.
Q: Do you feature vegetarian dishes?
A: We indicate entrées that are vegetarian or can be made
vegetarian with a carrot symbol (“^”)
on the monthly menu section. Please let us know
and we will do our best to meet your needs.
Q: Do you offer low carb dishes?
A: We offer a combination of dishes to meet most peoples
needs. Many of our entreés are naturally lower in carbohydrates as we use fresh
meat and poultry.
Q: What if we have a severe peanut
allergy in our house?
A:Our monthly menu indicates specific entrées that contain
nuts or nut oils. Please call us prior to arriving to a cooking session so we
can do everything we can to accommodate your needs. Please be advised however,
that we can not guarantee a nut-free environment.
Cooking Session Questions:
Q: How can it take only one hour to
assemble all these entrées?
A: Our chef takes the time to create our sauces from scratch.
All the veggies are chopped and the meat is prepared. You simply assemble the
ingredients by taking a scoop of this and a ladle of that to quickly assemble
all your entrées. You'll even have time to enjoy appetizers and chat with our
chefs and other participants. All in approximately one hour!
Q: Can I add spices and other
ingredients to cater to my family's tastes?
A: Yes, make your entreés as spicy as you'd like. Our staff
can also help you adapt the entrée if you do not care for certain ingredients.
Q: Are beverages provided?
A: Yes, beverages will be provided along with delicious
appetizers.
Q: How do I schedule a private party?
A: Contact your local Sociale to reserve a party date. There are many great
benefits to hosting a private party.
Q: How do I transport my food home?
A: We recommend you bring a large cooler or laundry basket to
help you transfer your entrées home.
Q: What if I have to cancel my session?
A: If you are not able to attend, please cancel or reschedule
within 3 days of your scheduled session to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations
providing less than 2 days notice will receive a 50% refund.
Q: Can I split a session with a friend
and make 6 entreés each?
A: Yes, but please call Sociale to register by phone, as
session availability may be limited.
Q: Is it possible to split the larger
entrées into two smaller portions that will feed 2-3 people?
A: No, we have found that this process does not work as
smoothly as it may sound for our customers, thus we ask that you accomplish
this at home if you wish. We have a 2-3 serving size option if family sized
portion is simply too much food.
Q: Can I bring my child with me to
attend a cooking session?
A: Sociale is considered a restaurant and we are unable to
accommodate children under the age of 14.
Pick-up Questions:
Q: What if I do not have time to attend
a cooking session?
A: No problem, all of our locations offer a entrée pick-up
options. Our chefs will prepare and freeze your entreés and have them ready for
you to pick-up. Please choose the "Pick-up" Option under "Place an Order".
Q: Can I pick-up my entrées and serve
them to my family the same night?
A: Several of our sauté entrées can be prepared directly from
the freezer. Other entrées may require 24 - 48 hours to thaw prior to cooking.
Q: How do I transport my food home?
A: We will package your order in double bags to help you
transport your entrées to your car. We recommend you bring a large cooler to
help you transfer your entrées home and keep them cool during transport.
General Questions:
Q: What methods of payment do you
accept?
A: We accept Visa and MasterCard. You can pay by credit card
on-line, over the phone or by mail. If it is more
convenient, you may also stop by Sociale ahead of time with cash or check.
Payment must be received at least 3 days prior to the session.
Q: Do I have to register over the
Internet?
A: No, feel free to call us and
we'll be happy to register you over the phone.
